29th March 1917

At Bermuda. Still about the same routine, painters still making a mess, continual hammering everywhere by the “maties” and our own men at work.

This afternoon I had a short respite from each din, and went ashore to play in a “soccer” practice match. The weather was beautiful and the game grand. Returned on board after the match and remained rest of day.
